I’m originally from New York City.
I spend a lot of my free time outside with my dog Honu.
I love print making, especially relief block printing. It’s an interest of mine that had a significant influence in my love for design. I love learning new tools and disciplines that I can incorporate into my design toolbelt. Motion design is something I’ve been pursuing in my free time. I get a lot of joy exploring new areas of design.
My favorite thing about being a designer is that I get to wake up every day and challenge myself. I also love the collaborative aspect of graphic design. Before the pandemic I worked as a line cook in a few kitchens in Portland. One of my favorite takeaways from working in great kitchens was the connection with people who loved what they did and took serious pride in the food they made. I love being in a profession where I can show up, learn something new every day, and exchange ideas with colleagues.
